The Local Studies Room

This was created in 1992 as a resource room for all departments to have access to artefacts connected to the heritage of the area.  At one end of the room is a mural that shows old and new Dubai.  You can click here for more information about the mural.  Opposite the mural is a representation of a bedouin tent as I wanted to display some of the artefacts in a realistic setting rather than just as 'objects'.  You can click here for more pictures of the tent.
