Latifa School for Girls welcomes applications from UAE Nationals. The school has limited places and always receives more applications than places available. Applicants will be awarded places on a case-by-case basis, with priority given to siblings. (View the LSG Admissions Policy)
Students are usually only admitted into Foundation Stage 1 and should be between the age of 3 years 6 months and 4 years 6 months on 15th September, on their year of admission. Full age requirements across the school are shown in the table below.
Students applying for entry into Year 10, the start of GCSE examination courses, will only be considered where their previous education experience has adequately prepared them to successfully embark on these examination courses. Due to the nature of the examination courses at these levels, new students are not normally accepted into Years 11, 12 or 13.
The school has two sections; the Primary Section from Foundation Stage (FS1 and FS2) to Year 6, and our Secondary Section, from Year 7 to Year 12. We currently have 730 students on roll.
The following steps should be followed when submitting an application for admission at Latifa School:
1. Please collect an application form from the Admissions Office.
2. Provide the following documents along with a completed application form:
Father's passport and Emirates ID copies
Mother's passport and Emirates ID copies
Applicant's passport and Emirates ID copies
Applicant's birth certificate
Two passport-size photographs
Photocopy of father's nationality papers
Photocopy of applicant's most recent school report if applicable
3. Applications should be submitted to the Admissions Office from Sundays to Thursdays, 8:00am - 11:00am or 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Please note that we can only accept applications during the timings mentioned.
Age Requirement for FS1
Deadline of Application Submission
Applications should be made by 28th February for entry in September of the same year. Final places will be awarded after assessment and evaluation by our Admissions Panel, usually before the end of May.
